I think you are totally right, and honestly, we should have known better. I understand people rely on us to relay important information, and we abused that “trust”. 

Anyway, I hope you accept my apology, I was just hoping for some fun. Now that I have this many followers, I really have to be careful about what I post. Again, I am  sorry! BTW, Megan, and lastingaster, I agree with you completely! So, yeah.

I know you guys mean well! And it was a pretty amusing idea, but when people were legitimately confused and asking whether or not it was real, the average person who stumbles across your blog doesn’t know you’re kidding when you keep insisting it’s legit, you know? People linked me to your posts going “OMG MEGAN IS THIS REAL??” and I was absolutely bewildered before I realized “Wait, that’s Eqra’s style…” So perhaps I wasn’t introduced to the joke in the best way, but I totally get it’s just you guys fooling around; just keep in mind you’re a legitimate place to find information and updates for some people, you know? I’ve actually seen people link to your posts on other sites as sources.

and ngl I probably would’ve found it funny if I had been there from the beginning but even still, I think it went a little far? But I know you mean well (and lol there’s no need to apologize, at least not to me!).

That said I’m really sorry for the awful anon messages you’ve been getting — two wrongs don’t make a right and all — so I hope they die down soon if they haven’t already.

(and I’m not mad or anything, lmao. I just realized this probably sounds like I’m upset, but I’m just kind of bleh about the whole thing.)
